Jana Dettmer mainly paints with rich colors on canvas. The traces of the painting knife, which she prefers to use to apply paint, remain visible in the finished picture and emphasize the tactile quality of her non-representational pictures.

The artist has been exhibiting regularly at home and abroad for years. Her works are in numerous private collections and are represented in national and international collections. The artist lives and works in Cologne and in the South of France.

Manuela Pasch

Manuela Pasch lives and works as a freelance painter in Düsseldorf. She studied painting at the University of Cologne, taught art at the former Mathematical Science High School in Mönchengladbach and worked in the Hans Mayer Gallery in Düsseldorf.

She devotes herself to people, animals and landscapes, among other subjects, with striking frequency. Anyone who has seen Manuela Pasch at work reports a concentrated, analytical creative process that reveals her view of the soul of the subject to the viewer.

In 2019, an artist friend commented on Manuela Pasch's technique, her wet-on-wet painting in oil on canvas, without the aid of turpentine or any painting medium, which he highlighted as a symbol of her unconventionality.
